14--Organizational meeting for the fall after school programs hosted by PWCC , 5:30 p.m. Volunteer Training will be held from 6-8:30 p.m.

15--Heritage of Bridgeport will be hosting a Back to School and Sunday Best Fashion Show at 2:30 p.m. at the Heritage.

16--Congressman Smith will be in Bridgeport at the PWCC to take part in the USDA - Rural Development funding at 9:00 a.m. MT.

16-17--82nd Annual Greek Festival will be held at Prairie Winds Community Center in Bridgeport. The event is sponsored by the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church of Bayard.

18--Immunization Clinic at the Family Resource Center, 1309 R Street.

18--EMS Workshop on "Skills Night" for emergency medical technicians and first responders at Morrill Fire Hall, Center Ave., 7:00 - 10:00 p.m.

19--All students entering the Bridgeport Junior High 7th grade there will be orientation and for all new students in the 8th grade are also encouraged to attend, 6:00 p.m.

19-- Nebraska Dry Bean Field Tour at University of Nebraska Research and Extension Center, Scottsbluff, 9:30 a.m.

22-24--5th Annual Blue Grass Festival at Oregon Trail Wagon Train.

22-24--Broadwater All School Reunion.

24--First Baptist church invites members and friends to a "Breakfast in the Park' , 8-9:30 followed by services.

25--EMS Workshop on "Skills Night" for emergency medical technicians and first responders at the Banner County Fire Hall, 304 Pennsylvannia Ave, 7:00-10:00 p.m.

September

14--Annual Ed Brandt Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at the Courthouse and Jail Golf Course in Bridgeport
